Construction Manager

Managed a staff of 12 to 14 reports as well as multiple subcontractors on multiple, complex projects. Responsible for construction, engineering, right of way, design, installation, turn-up, testing and maintenance activities of the New Jersey Turnpike Authority’s underground and indoor fiber optic assets, including tenant’s assets spanning the New Jersey Turnpike, Garden State Parkway and Atlantic City Expressway. Other responsibilities include management of the One-Call Operations for the NJTA in New Jersey and Delaware and construction and maintenance activities on various security projects; CCTV, access control, physical security.

July 1998 to April 2006 - Integral Planning & Management, Inc. Directed a team of Project Managers in the survey, design and construction management of telecom fiber optic projects. Responsible for project scheduling to include inside / outside plant survey and design, project package drafting, cost estimating, bid package preparation, construction/installations management, inspection, permit acquisition – including ROW and customer billing. Also served in a business development capacity.

Responsible for thirty-four employees including four supervisors, a twenty-six-vehicle fleet (consisting of vans, bucket trucks and passenger vehicles), multiple contractors and vendors (including vehicle purchasing, repairs and maintenance), office, warehouse and headend facilities.
